Our Team

Jeanna Atchinson

Founder & Lead Designer

Jeanna is an Interior Designer specializing in ski homes. Her work blends warmth, alpine design and functionality, creating spaces that feel refined, yet deeply livable.

After designing and completing her own ski home at South Peak at Loon Mountain, Jeanna developed a firsthand understanding of the unique demands of mountain living - from durable materials and thoughtful layouts to sourcing, logistics, and installation. She has locked in organized coordination with construction teams and vendors in the area to make sure the process seamless. Today, she brings that expertise to clients seeking a designer who understands both the lifestyle and the complexity of ski home projects in the area.

Known for her curated, collected approach, Jeanna designs homes that balance approachable furnishings, custom pieces, and layered textures.

Raised skiing in the mountains of Maine, Jeanna brings a lifelong connection to mountain culture into her work. She studied at the S.I. Newhouse School at Syracuse University and began her career in Advertising, working in Los Angeles and Boston with brands including AOL, Pandora, and Google.

Her personal travels through mountain towns such as Zermatt, Aspen, and Telluride have shaped her design perspective, informing a signature alpine aesthetic rooted in warmth and comfort.

Jeanna lives with her husband and two boys in Winchester, Massachusetts and drives up 93 every chance she gets to enjoy her own New Hampshire ski home.

Michelle McChesney

Procurement and Operations Manager

Michelle’s career began in the offices of a commercial construction firm, where she developed a strong foundation in project coordination, budgeting, vendor management, and business operations. While she was involved in many complex projects, she was drawn to the creative side of the industry and the process of bringing a vision to life from concept through completion.

As Bluebird Interior Designs’ Operations & Procurement Manager, Michelle oversees the systems, organization, and behind-the-scenes logistics that keep projects moving smoothly. From procurement tracking and vendor coordination to invoicing, budgeting, and operational workflows, she ensures every detail is managed with accuracy and efficiency.

Combining a deep understanding of project operations with expertise in financial management, Michelle plays a critical role in delivering a seamless client experience. With certifications in QuickBooks Online and experience with industry-specific design software, she helps maintain transparency throughout the purchasing and procurement process while supporting the systems that allow Bluebird to deliver turnkey, move-in-ready homes for its clients.
